The Bolle decorative bottle combines artisan craftsmanship with its incalmo technique, featuring separately blown glass components fused into one cohesive piece. The bottle displays its distinctive form through the contrast of straw yellow and apple green coloring.
Designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Venini, the 'Bolle' series is perhaps the most famous and representative collection by the Finn for the Italian glassmakers. Made using the incalmo technique, which fuses separately blown pieces of glass into one item, this curved bottle consists of grey and green blown Murano glass components.
