Blossom & Vine Large Kantha Bedspread - Pink, Cotton

The Blossom & Vine Kantha bedspread features vibrant pink blossoms amongst trailing vines and muted grey-green foliage, finished with rows of traditional hand stitching. A contrasting red-and-ivory striped trim and richly patterned pink floral border frame the design, while the plain reverse provides a more understated look with its simple running-stitch pattern. Made from 100% cotton, the fabric is block-printed by hand using carved wooden blocks in Sanganer, Jaipur, before being cut, stitched, and quilted by skilled artisan families. As each piece is handmade, subtle printing irregularities and colour variations are inherent to the craft.

Our kanthas begin their life in Sanganer, Jaipur, where the fabric is block-printed by hand, one block at a time, using carved wooden blocks and traditional Indian techniques. From there, they pass through the hands of skilled artisan families, who cut, stitch, quilt, and finish each piece. Every kantha is then carefully checked and prepared in Noida before beginning its journey to French Bedroom. As each kantha is made by hand, subtle printing irregularities and colour variations may occur.
