The chair showcases Herbarium print upholstery featuring a vintage-inspired Toile de Jouy pattern with cherry branches, leaves and flowers. Its needlepoint embroidery includes a moth and text detail, requiring approximately 10 hours to complete. The lacquered blue beech wood frame provides structural support, while brass nail heads outline the cushion for refined finishing.
Inspired by Alessandro Michele's ready-to-wear collections for Gucci, the 'Chiavari' chair features Gucci's Herbarium print — a vintage-inspired Toile de Jouy pattern that takes in cherry branches, leaves and flowers — along with needlepoint embroidery of a moth and the word 'Future', which together took approximately 10 hours to complete. With a lacquered blue beech wood frame and brass nail heads outlining the chair's cushion, 'Chiavari' is part-furniture, part-artwork and presents a standout centrepiece for any space, courtesy of the new Gucci Décor collection.
