With practical dimmer switch for light control - Philips Hue LED spotlight Runner The Philips Hue LED spotlight Runner is made of robust aluminium and coated with a final coat of coloured lacquer. The frame and the small arm, to which the swivelling head is attached, are angular in shape, while the swivelling head has a cylindrical shape. The spotlight head contains a replaceable Philips Hue White Ambiance GU10 LED bulb, which provides sufficient light and enables connection to an existing Philips Hue smart home system with the help of innovative ZigBee technology. To control the spotlight with a smartphone, tablet or voice assistant, the light needs to be connected to a suitable Hue bridge. Once successfully integrated, the light can be switched on, dimmed and varied in its different white tones via the free Hue app. A wide variety of lighting scenarios can be created in a spectrum ranging from warm white to daylight, thus creating the right ambience at any time of day. The Hue dimmer switch supplied not only acts as an additional control unit and as an alternative to the smartphone, but can also communicate with the Runner LED spotlight without any internet or Philips Hue system connection. The switch also enables switching on and off, dimming and four pre-installed light scenes in offline mode.
