Original Product Description:
Wall lamp modular TYPE 505 with adjustable arm, switch and plug cable With its reduced design and focus on functionality, the wall lamp TYPE 505 from the modular series is a cutting-edge light dispenser. However, the concept is already about a century old: the engineer Curt Fischer (1890 - 1956), who became known as the inventor of "steerable light", created the original models No. 113 and 114 to furnish then pioneering new buildings in the Bauhaus style. Today, midgard, the company founded by Fischer, continues to manufacture the luminaires; this, including all components, is done at locations in Germany. In the 505 version, a long, two-part arm, three joints and equipment with plug-in cable ensure outstanding flexibility. The inside of the round shade, beveled at the light exit, reveals the material aluminum. The outside of the shade, the arm, and the wall mount are powder coated in a solid color finish. Operation is via the rotary switch on the dome of the shade.
