Signal 331 wall light with double arm - more delicate version of the classic Loft luminaire from 1950 Jean-Louis Domecqs from France was looking for a workshop lamp in 1950 that met his requirements for flexibility and robustness. The search was unsuccessful and he then developed the Loft, a sturdily built light with chunky joints with sliding contacts, whose arm and head were completely freely adjustable. Loft was also characterised by a hemispherical reflector with a bracket so that the light could simply be pulled up by the bracket when required. Loft quickly became a Klassik of French industrial style. The Signal SI331 wall light is a more delicate version of the original, but no less robust and articulated. Its functionality is unique. The two-part arm can be rotated 280° on the wall mounting, swivelled 300° on each of the three integrated joints and the reflector can also be rotated 360° - without any annoying cables The Jieldé company - the name comes from the initials JLD of the Grund - is based in Lyon (France) and stands for handmade products of the highest quality. Every light is unique, which is why each light is labelled with a number.
