Made in 1949, just before the peak 1950s fascination with contemporary design, the Sunburst provided an unusual diversion from traditional clock design. Shaped like a sun, its shape strayed away from traditional silhouettes, while its bright red finish gave a vibrant burst of colour to the wall. Crafted from wood and metal, the Sunburst features a high-grade quartz clock-work and 1.5V battery.
