The vase features distinctive glass coloring techniques that create tonal variations resembling natural animal skin patterns. Its bold combination of black, pink and purple hues provides striking visual appeal, while the brass stand adds elegant support. The dual open-end design accommodates various flower arrangements, and the handcrafted glass construction ensures each piece displays unique color distribution.
In playing with various glass colour applying techniques, designer Sara Ricciardi landed on the distribution of tonal variation via a jet of grits. The result is a small collection of vessels for Vissionnaire in which the colour treatment resembles that of animal skins — a surprisingly exotic outcome which in this vase combines the bold hues of black, pink and purple. Supported by a brass stand and featuring two open ends for flower arrangements, the 'Fauna Cavallo' vase offers an exciting blend of man-made beauty and the surprises of nature.
