The stacking vessel combines bold blue glass with an acacia wood tip for versatile functionality. Its two-piece design allows unstacking to create separate containers, while the sculptural form adds visual interest to any space. The glass base provides a striking foundation, and the wooden tip offers natural contrast and practical use.
Designed by Pia Wüstenberg for Utopia & Utility, the 'Pisara' stacking vessel is a striking functional sculptural piece that stands out for its presentation of vivid color. Inspired by the way in which a drop can blend the pigment on a watercolor canvas — pisara means 'drop' in Finnish — the sculptural piece is defined by a bold blue glass base that is topped with an Acacia wood tip, which may be unstacked to create two functional containers.
