The ends have perforated metal sheets that allow unobstructed light to radiate to the sides. The shade sits on two sturdy aluminum legs. Sam Weller, who also created the Fifty-Fifty series of lamps for the Danish manufacturing company, created this unusual table lamp. The English designer was born in Bath (Great Britain) in 1985 and gained experience in industrial design and engineering at an early age. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and graduated in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Product Design. He has since lived and worked in England, the US, and Asia before settling in Copenhagen, Denmark.
