Dimmable table lamp Chanpen with banana hemp shade (sample) Circular is the shade of the table lamp Chanpen and therefore looks not quite unlike a full moon, which means "Chanpen". The shade is covered with fibers of banana hemp, also called abacá. The diagonally running fibres create a diamond pattern reminiscent of the cut of diamonds. Chanpen can be dimmed with the rotary dimmer integrated in the base. The designer Anon Pairot has developed the Chanpen series of lamps for the French lighting manufacturer Forestier. Having worked for well-known brands such as Fendi, Habitat and Grohe, he was able to follow Forestier's preference for working with natural and sustainable materials and, with Chanpen, design a lamp made of hemp.
