Koura stool lamp with wickerwork shade made of bamboo - Design by David Trubridge The Koura stool lamp has a basket-like shade in the shape of a drop sitting on a slender aluminium base. The shade consists of many individual parts made of bamboo veneer and is reminiscent of a woven basket. The light from the bulb shines through the variously sized recesses, creating a charming shadow pattern in the surroundings. Whether in the bedroom on the bedside table or in the living room on the floor, on a stool or on a table - Koura spreads its naturally inspired charm everywhere, whether illuminated or unlit. The creator of Koura, the designer David Trubridge, who comes from England and now lives in New Zealand, attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection in the selection and processing of the material. The bamboo plywood used comes from sustainable timber farming. The finished lamp is delivered flat folded and has to be assembled after receipt. Precise assembly instructions are included.
