The Alarik's red pattern was designed in celebration of the beautiful textiles of Barbro Nilsson. To make each rug, yarn is first turned by hand on a wheel, dipping it into a vat of dye that gives it its colour, then it is hung to dry in the sun, giving every single thread individual characteristics.
