Its separate glass top is sand cast using a technique dating back to the 15th century, where molten glass is poured into sand-carved moulds to produce a surface that is smooth yet marked by subtle wave-like patterns and occasional air bubbles. This casting process gives each piece a naturally textured, one-of-a-kind finish that distinguishes it from standard glass tabletops. The frame's forged iron construction provides a sturdy, grounded base while the antique brass finish adds warm metallic contrast to the clear cast glass.
