Designed in 1951, the ETR saw the Eames continue to develop their interest in the then new material of bent wire steel.Arranged into criss-crossing square frames, the two bases have a super strong yet lightweight look that is finished in polished chrome.Contrasting the gleam of metal is a long, elliptical table top sculpted from plywood and laminated in a smooth black or white laminate.This low table is perfect for the living space, reception or entrance room, its wide surface providing ample space to display items, books or magazines.
