Intended to convey the impression of a soft, well-used baseball glove, this sophisticated lounger offers ample proportions to relax into whilst also providing ideal posture support.<p>Making the complex look simple, this armchair and foot stool are composed of three main elements: an innovative moulded plywood shell in glossy veneer, cast aluminium frame and soft leather upholstered cushioning. <p>Using modern production techniques, the shell is assembled from five thin sheets of plywood covered in a polished veneer prior to heat and pressure shaping. <p>This is contrasted by the sharp lines of the chromed aluminium base and frame that gently lock together the curved, organic forms to create one harmonious silhouette. <p>To alleviate any friction and provide ease of movement, pioneering rubber shock-mount pads are placed between the frame and shell enabling the back and headrest to flex. <p>The raised legs of its cast aluminium base enables full 360 rotati...
