Designer pendant light Futura made in the glassworks of Murano in Italy The glass lampshade on the pendant light Futura has two colours, yet is only one piece and is produced in the glassworks of Murano at the gates of Venice. A special technology enables the body to have two colours. The division between the transparent part and opal part is emphasised by a metal ring placed in the middle. The Hangar Design Group created the Futura model, which was developed from a design originally created for the renovation of the cafeteria of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. This simple light, which features round shapes and is made in Murano, was designed specifically for the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, which houses Petty Guggenheim’s art collection.
