Original Product Description:

LED pendant lamp Guise - a play of transparency and light The connection between transparency and light served as inspiration for the designer Stefan Diez when creating the LED pendant lamp Guise. When switched off, it is almost invisible due to its transparency and fascinates the observer with special light effects when switched on. The light source is hardly visible, only the glass itself seems to provide the bright light. This effect is achieved with the help of filigree engravings that refract the light of the barely visible LED strip and thus shine in an intense glow. For the design of the Guise luminaire, Stefan Diez was awarded the Red Dot Design Award, among others. In addition to the technical highlights, the luminaire also scores with its materials. The glass of the tube is borosilicate glass, which is handmade by the internationally leading glass manufacturer Schott AG. The careful manufacturing process by hand is particularly evident in the small blemishes in the glass, such as small air bubbles or inclusions, which make each luminaire absolutely unique. The pendant lamp can be switched on and off and dimmed via a sensor on the top of the lamp body.
