It consists of goose feathers, which were applied by hand to a base of cardboard. No feathers of live animals are used for the shade design. The Eos mini umbrella was designed by Søren Ravn Christensen, the co-founder of the Danish manufacturing company UMAGE and can be combined with various frames, in this case a frame designed by Anders Klem was used. Its shape was unmistakably modeled on the foot of a champagne flute. It radiates lightness and pure elegance and, in combination with the Eos mini shade, creates a table lamp that adds that certain something to any modern home design. The special highlight: Hidden in the foot of the table lamp is a USB port integrated, through which smartphone or tablet can be charged even when the light is not switched on. The company UMAGE was founded in 2008 by Søren Ravn Christensen and Jacob Nannestadt Hansen and stands for exclusive, affordable design. UMAGE now sells its products in more than 50 countries.
