Even back then, this unique product was manufactured industrially, as the design - like all products by the great Bauhaus designers - was unconditionally convincing, because with its highly functional lampshade, mounting and quality of light, this model fully meets the requirements of the Bauhaus style. This style originates from the eponymous Staatliches Bauhaus in Weimar, the university for design during the WEIMAR Republic. This is where the leading artists of their time came together and countless Meisterwerke were created, which today are undisputedly among the Klassik of modernism under the term Bauhaus design. Their distinguishing feature is the Form, which always follows the intended use, the material properties and the manufacturing method.
