Made from recycled material: 3D printed pendant light Koral Bowl For the production of the shade of the Koral Bowl pendant lamp, old PET bottles were given a new lease of life. The material PETG, for which PET bottles are recycled, visually gives the impression of being clear glass. In a 3D printer, the PETG is turned into an attractive lampshade within a day - and without any waste, emissions or noise. The material is free of toxic substances and petroleum and can also be recycled and returned to the industrial cycle. Durable and wipeable like conventional materials of this kind, it is also heat-resistant up to 80 degrees. The German company Tagwerk has dedicated itself to the previously little-known mass production of consumer goods with the 3D printer. Tagwerk designs and manufactures its products in Germany using only recycled and organic materials and electricity from renewable sources.
