Transparent LED pendant Demì becomes a unique light accent When switched off, Demì is hardly visible due to its transparency, but as soon as the integrated LED technology is activated, the pendant luminaire shines in all its glory. The transparent lamp shade is made of PMMA and is micro-engraved. A white ring with LEDs is embedded at the top of the dome, whose warm white light is distributed over the entire surface of the shade by the engraving. This makes the transparent shade shine all around and makes it look as if the material itself is the light source. The innovative design was created by Mirco Crosatto and was awarded the Reddot Award in 2019. The brightness can be adjusted with an appropriate dimmer. A DALI dimmer module is required for this purpose, which can be purchased as an accessory to the luminaire.
