Supermorgana designer pendant light in mesh look - design by Stefano Papi The Supermorgana light series from Slamp is characterised by the specific meshwork made of metallised polycarbonate. The light is particularly impressive thanks to the shiny metallic interior, which is responsible for beautiful light reflections. The form of the pendant light is reminiscent of a distillation flask or an ampoule, while the pattern of the Capitoline Square in Rom is revealed to the observer looking upwards from under the light. The association with Rom is no coincidence. Slamp, the manufacturer of this light, is based in Rom and was founded there in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani. Slamp is known above all for the use of materials specially developed by them for the manufacture of lights, especially plastics - whether transparent or metallised. In combination with the design of the lights, they create an artistic play of light, so that the lights from Slamp are not just lighting objects, but true works of light art.
