Kalatos designer hanging light – a braided structure and bright general lighting With its white diffuser, the Kalatos hanging light provides glare-free general lighting all around. The highlight of the pendant light made by the Italian manufacturer Slamp is its special appearance, which makes Kalatos look outstanding in private or public lounge areas with high-quality furnishings. The designer Elisa Giovannoni took her inspiration from traditional braiding. As in basketware, Kalatos has an outer braided ring. However, it is not made of wickerwood or vegetable fibers but of technical polymer developed by Slamp. The inner white body, which scatters the light evenly, is decorated with a regular pattern. The four E27 sockets inside the light can be fitted with LED filament bulbs.
