Original Product Description:

High-quality designer pendant lamp Aria - designed by Zaha Hadid The impressive pendant lamp Aria convinces with its radial structure of 50 different "arms" that create a three-dimensional volume. The lamp from the house of Slamp was made from specially manufactured materials. The high-quality technopolymers are particularly resistant to UV radiation and heat and have been treated antistatically to repel dust. The processed Lentiflex® ensures warm and uniform light emission, and the Cristalflex® gives the grace and preciousness of glass to the pendant lamp made of a light and at the same time shatterproof material. With this design object, both modern and timelessly furnished rooms can be effectively designed. The stunning design was created by architect and Pritzker Architecture Prize winner Zaha Hadid. The architecture professor and designer is known for her exceptional and dynamic design. TIMES magazine included her on its list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World," and Queen Elizabeth II named her a "Dame Commander of the British Empire" in 2012. Hadid's style was described by her business partner Patrik Schumacher as "elegance of ordered complexity and impression of seamless fluidity," which would also correspond to "natural systems." Italian luminaire manufacturer Slamp was founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and places particular emphasis on sustainability and the development of novel materials. Accordingly, the company developed the technopolymers. These materials allow to create shapes and effects that seem impossible with other materials. The plastics developed in-house and the luminaires produced from them bring out Slamp's strengths. The novel materials are robust, yet very light and particularly environmentally friendly. because they contribute to the reduction of environmental costs 4 times compared to the alternatives.
