Unusual Poppy ceiling light with flexible arm and flower design, 1-bulb Fans of unusual lights with a very individual design will love the Poppy ceiling light. Its lampshade made of tinted, hand-blown glass in the shape of a poppy flower is attached to the polished stainless steel canopy via a flexible arm made of textile-coated aluminium. Poppy's flexible arm is not the only thing that can be moved: the slats on the glass shade, which act as the leaves of the flower design, are made of bimetal and are closed inwards when switched off. When switched on, they are heated by the supplied Lamp and open bit by bit until they are fully extended after about two minutes. The Poppy series was created by Ulrich Beckert, Georg Soanca-Pollak and Peter Thammer for serien.lighting. Note: To ensure the desired expansion of the bimetallic strips, the use of a 35 W halogen bulb is recommended. A suitable Lamp is included in the scope of delivery.
