Original Product Description:
Cavity Recessed designer luminaire with dimmable LEDsIn the Cavity Recessed LED ceiling luminaire by serien.lighting, the curved aluminium body replaces the reflector with which recessed luminaires and downlights are normally equipped so that the light is emitted directionally. Due to the cavity (hence the name Cavity), the LEDs sit relatively deep in the body and the light is emitted glare-free and directed downwards via the trumpet-shaped light emission. Cavity Recessed can be dimmed via an external phase cut-off dimmer. Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf are not only the designers of this luminaire, they are also the founders of serien.lighting. in 1985, the two fellow students joined forces and, as industrial designers, founded their own lighting company, which is now internationally renowned. The luminaires by serien.lighting are characterised by a mostly simple but very refined design, in which the technology enters into a perfect symbiosis with the design.
