The base is reminiscent of a tripod - made of steel, painted matt white - and the shade - also white - has a typical conical shape, but it widens upwards rather than downwards as usual. Another special feature of the umbrella is the cardan joint, which allows it to be aligned in all directions. Ove Rogne was inspired to the name Oslo Wood by the trees in and around Oslo.
