Original Product Description:

Oslo Wood floor lamp steel-coloured with beige shade This modern floor lamp was created by Ove Rogne, who founded the lighting company Northern Lighting in 2005 with three long-standing friends. In 2006 Rogne designed Oslo Wood, the award-winning floor lamp. This design was inspired by the play of light and shade in the urban trees of Oslo which filter the urban light and diffuse it upwards to brighten up the dark winter sky. The special feature of Oslo Wood is the ability to rotate the lampshade around and change the atmosphere of the room over and over again. This is made possible by the gimbal on the top of the tripod. The shade structure allows the light to shimmer gently through the fabric and it can be dimmed if necessary via the integrated dimmer switch. The Norwegian producer company was named Northern Lighting until 2018 and was renamed Northern because it is now increasingly also dedicated to producing home interior design in the Nordic lifestyle.
