LED wall lamp Ink with adjustable shade With this first design for the Norwegian company Northern, the Swedish designer Felix Isidorsson, who operates from London, has created a light object that shows its source of inspiration - the long Nordic winters with their darkness. Ink presents itself as a black disc that projects light over the wall to illuminate the space around it. The adjustable, concave shade is, like all the parts, coloured in matt black, whose ink resemblance also gave the lamp its name Ink. The shade, which is white on the inside, reflects the light directly onto the wall. The light from the LED module shines beyond the edge of the shadow, creating a unique halo effect around the luminaire. This creates additional accentuated lighting that is both decorative and atmospheric. Northern, founded in 2005 and operating under the name Northern Lighting until 2018, specialises in home design and lighting in Nordic design. It works with well-known architects and designers and Northern brand products are characterised by high quality, fine materials and state-of-the-art craftsmanship.
