Original Product Description:

Retro design from 1954: Dokka pendant lamp in matt blackThe Dokka pendant lamp is a piece of European design history. The Norwegian Birger Dahl had the first design for this lamp realised in 1954. With it, he created an object that quickly became a classic of post-war design and one of the best-selling Norwegian lamps. The Dokka model is also the first Norwegian luminaire to win the Golden Medal Award at the Triennale di Milano. Many decades later, the Dokka pendant lamp has been rediscovered and put back into production. New colours have been added, but one thing has remained: its unmistakable shape. The body made of steel suggests longevity and steadfastness. That Dokka fulfils these attributes has already proven its survival into the 21st century.
