Original Product Description:

The Lampe de Marseille is a projecting wall light with double-sided spotlighting and flexible adjustment The Lampe de Marseille can be combined in a variety of ways and offers impressive flexibility and generous light. Its name already provides a clue to the origin of the wall light: the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier designed it to equip his new type of residential building "Unité d'Habitation", which was first realised in Marseille in 1947 and was implemented in other French cities and Berlin until 1965. The characteristic feature of the luminaire series is the double-sided head with two lampshades. A flat cone (recommended: E27 globe bulb up to Ø 11 cm) provides a wide light, while the opposite, narrow cone (recommended: E27 bulb A60) creates a directed light cone. Thanks to two rotating and swivelling joints on the slim arm, the lampshades can be rotated as required and their position in the room adjusted. The light sources are operated separately using the double switch on the plug cable.
