Original Product Description:
Wall spotlight modular TYPE 555 - equipped with adjustable lampshade and switch As an authentic light source in the Bauhaus style, this wall light from the modular series will impress in almost any environment. The simple, functional design is a further development of models no. 113 and 114 and was designed by Curt Fischer (1890 - 1956), who is regarded as the inventor of "steerable light". The luminaire manufacturer midgard, which he founded, is still responsible for production today, with the lights, including all components, being manufactured at sites in Germany. The TYPE 555 version is characterised by its attachment directly to the wall mount. The black light is complemented by sections in aluminium that adorn the inside of the lampshade and the joint. The latter allows the light direction to be adjusted. Thanks to the rotary switch on the dome of the lampshade, operation is possible directly on the wall light.
