The Israeli industrial designer and academic Yaacov Kaufman designed the lamp series Matrix already in 2000 for the Italian lamp manufacturer Lumina. The products of Lumina are characterized by their durability and a very high quality. They are manufactured in Italy and Lumina attaches great importance to sustainability in the selection and procurement of materials as well as in the production and even in the packaging.
