The LED pendant lamp Dot 800 is a sleek and minimalist lighting fixture. It features two parallel discs, connected by a slender metal shaft, giving it a floating appearance. The small lower disc contains a ring of LEDs, which cast light upward to reflect off the larger matte-white disc for pleasant, indirect illumination. Ideal for larger spaces like conference tables, it provides warm, white light and is dimmable via DALI or 1-10 V systems. Crafted by Lumina Italia, this durable lamp emphasizes sustainability, using locally sourced steel, aluminum, and glass.

Original Product Description:

LED pendant lamp Dot 800 - indirect light source for the table Dot is a minimalist LED pendant lamp that looks like two light discs floating parallel to each other. These two are connected by a metal shaft. The small disc at the bottom contains a ring of LEDs that shine the light upwards. There, it bounces off the large, matte-white disc that serves as a reflector and indirectly illuminates an extensive area, very pleasantly and without glare. A custom-made heat pipe transfers the heat of the LEDs to the heat sink, which is housed above the reflector. This allows an extreme miniaturisation of the luminaire head. Powerful, indirect and bright illumination in a warm white light colour ensures the illumination of even larger rooms and particularly good visual comfort, which is why the Dot 800 pendant luminaire is also suitable for use above writing or conference tables. The luminaire is dimmable (DALI, 1 - 10 V - not included). The LED pendant lamp Dot 800 is a high-quality and durable luminaire by the manufacturer Lumina Italia. The design comes from Foster + Partners, one of the most famous architecture firms in the world, whose most famous commissions include the redesign of the Reichstag in Berlin and Wembley Stadium in London. Manufacturer of the pendant lamp Dot 800 is the Italian lighting company Lumina, which was founded in 1980 by Tommaso Cimini. The company attaches great importance to high quality, durability and also to a sustainable production of the lights. Thus, steel, aluminium and glass are almost exclusively used for production and the materials and luminaire components are mainly sourced locally. Lumina's facilities are mainly powered by solar panels and all packaging used is recyclable.
