£203.21

Colour: Brown

The Iguazu pendant lamp features a cone-shaped shade crafted from sustainable jute, offering a natural brown hue that brings an earthy aesthetic to any space. Jute, the second most common plant fiber after cotton, is known for its strength and is spun into thick threads. These are woven horizontally to create a shade that emits diffuse, atmospheric light, with a direct glow downwards—ideal for counters, side tables, or dining areas. This lamp is part of the Good & Mojo brand’s eco-friendly collection, supporting charitable causes like the WakaWaka Foundation and tree planting initiatives.

Original Product Description:

Iguazu pendant lamp made of sustainable jute The shade of the Iguazu pendant lamp is made of natural jute in a cone-like shape. The aesthetics of nature is brought into every room by this natural fibre with its natural brownish colour. The natural fibre jute is the most widespread plant fibre after cotton and is characterised by its robustness. It is grown from seeds and can be harvested within 4 to 6 months. The fibres are spun into coarse, strong threads. These were woven parallel to each other around the horizontally running struts to form a shade that lets a very diffuse, atmospheric light escape all around, while the light emerges directly downwards through the opening, so that Iguazu can be used above counters, side tables, but also dining tables. The combination with other luminaires of the series ensures a harmonious overall picture. The Iguazu pendant luminaire belongs to the sustainable luminaire collection of the Good & Mojo brand. The company pays attention to the use of sustainable materials and cooperates with non-profit organisations. Through donations, it supports the WakaWaka Foundation, which fights against energy poverty and supports people and regions off the grid with solar products. In addition, since 2019 it has supported Eden Projects, an organisation that plants a tree for every light sold. So far, more than 150,000 trees have been planted.
