Original Product Description:

High-gloss lacquered pendant lamp Kaiser idell™ - a classic of Bauhaus design This pendant lamp is part of the unique Kaiser idell™ lighting series by German designer Christian Dell (1893-1974) and was designed in 1931. Christian Dell, a trained silversmith, teacher of industrial design and master craftsman at the Weimar Bauhaus from 1922-1925, created the legendary lamp series in the 1930s. Today, it is manufactured by FRITZ HANSEN, the Danish lighting company founded in 1872 by carpenter Fritz Hansen after he obtained a trading license for Copenhagen, and which has been synonymous with exquisite design ever since. Today 75% owned by Skandinavisk Holding, FRITZ HANSEN stands for innovative design concepts that are implemented with high quality craftsmanship. The pendant lamp Kaiser idell™ is a symbol for noble Bauhaus design as well as exquisite materials. It adds a special touch to any interior and can be used excellently for general lighting, but also for illuminating, for example, a dining table. An absolute eye-catcher when switched on or off.
