£193.59

Colour: Cream and beige

The Chanpen hanging lamp features a round shade made of hemp fibers, inspired by designer Anon Pairot's mother. Its name, meaning full moon, reflects its circular form. The frame is wrapped in abacá, creating a hexagonal pattern that gently diffuses light, providing a warm, soft glow. Pairot, known for collaborating with brands like Fendi and Grohe, emphasizes natural materials, evident in this design for Forestier.

Original Product Description:

Hanging lamp Chanpen with shade of hemp fibre Designer Anon Pairot named the Chanpen range of lamps after his mother. Chanpen means full moon, which is very apt with regard to the shape of the lamp. The circular frame, which serves as a framework for the shade, was covered with hemp fibres (abacá), creating a pattern of hexagons. The hemp fibre fabric lets the light shine gently through, so that a homely and glare-free lighting is guaranteed. Anon Pairot has already worked for well-known companies such as Fendi, Habitat and Grohe. He likes to work with natural and sustainable materials and was able to express this preference in the Chanpen lighting series for the French manufacturer Forestier.
