The well-formed, almost spherical body consists of solid-blown glass, which was cut on the ribbon and then dipped in acid, which creates the typical silky effect of the glass. The blowing of glass with such a large diameter, as is the case with this model, requires enormous skills and talents, because, according to old Venetian tradition, no auxiliary tools are provided.
