Drawing Room - a semi-flush ceiling light in an Edwardian Style The semi-flush ceiling light Drawing Room is characterised by a frame painted in a walnut colour and a cream-coloured glass bowl, which clearly show the stylistic elements of the Edwardian Era. This era, which lasted from Edward VII’s ascension to the throne to the outbreak of the First World War (1901-1914), was characterised by a new lightness, which was also reflected in the design of articles of daily use, e.g. lights. A ceiling light which not only scores points with an atmospheric light output, but also acts as a style-emphasising element when it is turned off.
