He was inspired by an orchid, whose buds were the inspiration for the shape of the lampshades. These are conical in shape and have a large, opalescent diffuser that gently and diffusely emits the light from the LEDs installed behind it into the room. The light is somewhat reminiscent of warm rays of sunshine and the brightness can be conveniently varied using the dimmer supplied.
