The ground spike light can be operated with energy from the mains or independently with solar energy and a combination of both operating modes is also possible. For operation with energy from the socket, a transformer is required for connection to the mains supply; for operation with solar energy, a solar panel and a connector set are required for connection. The combination of both ensures permanent lighting, as the light automatically switches to mains power as soon as the solar panel battery is empty.
