Original Product Description:
Birdy floor lamp - timeless light source with tilting head and arm This floor lamp was designed back in 1952 by Birger Dahl, one of the pioneers of Scandinavian design. The stylistically typical combination of clear forms, restrained colours and functional features also characterise the Birdy floor lamp. Its lampshade is formed from an aluminium truncated cone at the bottom. It is attached to a long arm with a vertically tilting joint, the inclination of which can also be adjusted thanks to a further joint. The lower section of the frame consists of a vertical standing star and a round base. The plug cable, equipped with a switch, is inserted into the rear end of the upper arm. With its characteristic design and adjustable light, Birdy is a highlight for many interior design concepts, from retro to modern.
