Original Product Description:

Parliament floor lamp with adjustable light emission on two sides With its timeless design and practical flexibility, the Parliament floor lamp is an impressive light source that can be combined in a variety of ways. Its name gives an indication of its history; the floor lamp was designed in 1963 by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier to furnish the parliament of the Indian city of Chandigarh. The design of the head with two oppositely oriented conical lampshades in different colours is not only visually striking, but also functionally well thought-out, providing direct and indirect lighting at the same time. This can be orientated as desired, as the head can be rotated horizontally on the one hand and tilted vertically through 180° on the other, so that the light is emitted to the sides or upwards/downwards. A control unit with switch and slider for dimmable lighting is located on the plug cable.
