Original Product Description:
Claritas floor lamp - socket, lampshade and stand can be tilted towards each other The Italian architect and industrial designer Vico Magistretti (1920 - 2006) designed the head of the Claritas floor lamp in an unusual construction. The lampshade, which resembles a cylinder cut in half, can be rotated vertically using its short rod on the cylindrical socket. This makes it possible to influence the shape of the light and also to adjust whether the light is emitted directly or reflected by the white inside of the lampshade. The socket, which can be rotated on the slender stand, offers a further option for changing the direction. The unmistakable appearance, despite its simple basic shape, paired with elegant chrome details on the otherwise black structure, makes the Claritas floor lamp, which was designed back in 1946, a stylish element with a strong character, even in today's interior design concepts.
