Original Product Description:

LED floor lamp Flo made of aluminium and steel in a minimalist design The Flo luminaire series is the result of the first collaboration between the manufacturer Lumina Italia and Foster + Partners, one of the world's best-known architecture firms. All unnecessary moving parts have been removed from the design of the minimalist floor lamp with its streamlined, curved form made of steel and aluminium, yet it is still versatilely adjustable thanks to the arm that can be tilted through 120° and the head that can be rotated through 300°. The light can also be switched to two brightness levels using the switch built into the head. The architecture firm Foster + Partners designed the Flo luminaire series in 2011 for the Italian lighting company LUMINA. It is one of the world's best-known architectural firms, with its most famous commissions including the redesign of the Reichstag in Berlin and Wembley Stadium in London, as well as the Swiss Re headquarters in London (Swiss Re Tower) and Apple Park in California. The Italian company LUMINA was founded in 1980 by TOMMASO Cimini and specialises in the manufacture of luminaires. High-quality and durable products are the result of LUMINA's luminaire production, with the company placing great emphasis on sustainability both in the products themselves and in their manufacture. Steel, aluminium and Glas are predominantly used to manufacture luminaires, the company attaches great importance to short transport routes for raw materials, the company generates most of its energy from solar panels and only recyclable materials are used for packaging.
