Kushi XL floor lamp with impaled opal glass shade The Italian designer duo Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella has further developed the Kushi floor lamp and created an XL version. The minimalist floor lamp consists of a conical column on a round base that supports a double-layer, handblown opal glass sphere. The sphere appears to be impaled, because the column protrudes out of the top of the globe light. The result is a unique design that can be integrated into many interior styles and at the same time provides a pleasant, cosy lighting atmosphere. The white glass of the lampshade allows the light to shine into the surrounding area without glare and its brightness can be adjusted using the dimmer switch provided.
