The Lily armchair by Fritz Hansen was first designed in 1968 and its version with armrests was launched in 1970 at the Danish furniture fair. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, the armchair consists of knife veneer layer-glued and molded through a highly complex process to create the perfect curves and the extraordinary comfort of the armchair, and a base constructed from chromed steel.
