Crafted within the Portugese workshops of De La Espada, this table is cut from pieces of American black walnut that are then treated in Danish oil.Using an innovative piece of technology to produce this sumptuous joinery, Matthew Hilton has been able to create a lengthy walnut table top that is not limited to the size of the tree.It is only up close that you really get a feel for the quality of workmanship, with each walnut plank formed into a seamless expanse with exquisite joinery and smooth thumb moulding along its sides.The two parts of this table's top are complemented by the cleverly engineered frame of taupe aluminium that is visible along the central seam of the surface.
