Inspired by traditional Victorian school desks, the strikingly contemporary Slab Desk in a smoked oak finish was designed by Tom Dixon. Curved edges and a dark, defined wood grain define the Slab Desk. Crafted using solid oak, each piece is smoked before being individually sanded and lacquered. The desk is cleverly designed for optimal functionality without limiting its refined aesthetic. For example, a deep groove offers space for pens and accessories, whilst an inkwell-inspired cable hole harks back to the design’s Victorian roots.
